The church stands on a hill above Piazza Michelangelo looking down on the city of Florence.
Around it is the Florentine equivalent of the Camp Santo. Manzu, Annigoni, and Spadolini are among the notables who rest in the cemetery.
The Sulpician Fathers now occupy the Church and complex. You can hear Gregorian Chant at the relevant Hours.
