I do not know much about Séraphine Louis, better known as Séraphine de Senlis. Her story has been made into a bio-pic in France which has won a number of French Oscars.
It is a sad story. Her work lives on. She was truly a master.
I saw the movie and was moved by the hardships this woman had in her life. What an amazingly strong woman of faith she was. The end of her life is sad but you find some peace in knowing that she was able to go and be in a big yard with a tree. God bless her.
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful movie.
ReplyDeleteInteresting to see how sometimes one's destiny is all about meeting the right person.
